The January Folkletter is a quiet winter envelope inspired by English folklore, the turning of the year and the old custom of wassailing a tradition of blessing orchards and welcoming the year ahead.
This edition is written and illustrated as a letter from the villagers the animals of the hedgerows and woods, as they gather in the depths of winter, mark the passing year and look ahead with hope. Every element is hand-drawn and hand-written by me, created slowly and thoughtfully.
Inside you’ll find a seasonal letter rooted in English folklore, alongside a hand-drawn print and a small set of coordinating stickers, all designed to be kept, displayed or carried with you through the month.
Nothing is mass-produced. Each Folkletter is printed, assembled, and packed by hand.
